LBJ Orchestra

There are four different orchestras at LBJ/LASA: the Sinfonietta, Chamber, Concert, and Camerata. The Sinfonietta Orchestra is for all incoming freshman, regardless of skill level. The Chamber Orchestra is a freshman orchestra that only accepts auditioned students. The Concert Orchestra is a non-audition ensemble and is for upperclassmen who enjoy playing and are not interested in the demands of Camerata. The Camerata Orchestra is the flagship varsity ensemble at LBJ/LASA, and enrollment is by audition only. This orchestra moves through advanced literature quickly, and diligent practice is expected of every student. Students in Camerata are also offered the opportunity to play in a full orchestra ensemble with members of the LBJ Band.
